Simona Corradini is an Italian Designer with over 20 years of experience in high-end commercial and residential interiors.
She infused her store design and construction management experience for the Prada group into the Florentine Design signature process.
She is now pursuing her new creative endeavor, while caring for her 2 sons and making delicious food.
THE FLORENTINE DESIGN STORY
Florentine Design was born from an unlikely twist of fate — and a shared passion for beautiful, purposeful spaces.
Donatella Mazzini and Simona both graduated from the prestigious Florence Architecture School, surrounded by the same circles, yet their paths never crossed in Tuscany. It wasn't until nearly two decades later, thousands of miles away in California, that they finally met — and immediately recognized in each other the same design sensibility, the same standards, the same creative drive.
That serendipitous encounter became Florentine Design: a Bay Area interior design studio where old-world Italian craftsmanship meets California living. From day one, the studio became a home for organization, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail — the hallmarks of a Florentine education brought to life in every project.
Today, Florentine Design continues under the creative direction of Donatella Mazzini. Simona has moved on to new ventures, though the two still find time to share a cappuccino or a Spritz, talking all things design — because some creative friendships are simply timeless.
